So I’ve been in Eugene since the 27th.
No, I didn’t finish my 27th Birthday book :( But for some reason I feel just fine about it ^-^
As soon as Whitepaws and I got in town, we headed to Alton Baker Park to do some boxing. We got maybe 3 or 4 there. And it couldn’t have been a more prettyful day! The park has a solar system set up, all the planets are spread out through the park. There was one area we were walking through and some little white fluffy things started floating through the air. It was like a star field ^-^
Then we went to the ‘ol house and my mom took us out for more boxes… I think we got 2 more. Found lots to be potentially missing. There’s a lot of urban boxes here! Tricky business, that. Ugh… we walked SO much that day, I got a blister. But it was worth it, of course. Alton Baker was just so gorgeous. Unfortunately, my camera wasn’t working. I would have came out of there with some amazing shots. I wish I could live in that park! *drool*
The next day my mommy took me bead shopping. I got a ton of fresh water pearls, that were on sale. I picked up some other stuff to make myself a new mala (still can’t find my other one!) and to have enough left over of the FWP to use for some products. It came out just stunningly lovely.

Its prettier than it looks. And very long! Hanging normally, it reaches my belly button. And it wraps easily twice around my puny head. And I can wear it as a tiara :-p If you want one like it, just drop me a message and we can work something out. I never cared about pearls ’til my mom came along LOL. There’s a luminescence on the pearls that matches the little purple seed beads. That big bead thing was like -made- for this project ^-^ I’ve made my mom 2 or 3 necklaces since I’ve been here. I’ll have to get pics of them later.
Wanna see her pussy?

He peed on my socks. Bad kitty.\
I bought myself a bead container thing from Wal-mart… $20 cheapo bag thingy with 5 big bead containers inside. I’m picky about my bead containers. They’re perfect. I haven’t seen my Ultimate Bead Container anywhere for a long time and I -needed- more containers! So yay.
Saturday I got my Darkrai! My daddy took me to Toys ‘R’ Us because even though my mom’s on vacation, its just her weekdays she’s on vacation from. So we got there maybe 10 minutes earlier and the lady behind the counter was dressed as a pikachu :-p It was actually pretty cute. I messed up the process of getting my pikachu twice - I forgot to leave an empty slot for it, and then I went into not the Pokemart, but the other place, the one where you get healed. I freaked out when I didn’t see the green guy there and restarted and… yeah. Took me awhile to find the Pokemart but I got ‘em ^-^
Then we went to the SATURDAY MARKET! SQUEEEE! ^-^ I LOVE the Saturday market! Turns out my dad likes that kind of stuff, too. And if there was a place to sit we prolly would have sat there a long time just listening to music, eating and watching people.
*snicker* Had a funny moment “watching a really good booth”. E-mail me for details ;-)
So my dad got in line to get a tofu borrito (VERY nummy, BTW) and we both suddenly realized we had no clue how much time we had left on the parking meter. So I ran off to go check on it. I guess just as I disappeared the burriotos were ready. Heh… anyway. I couldn’t find the damn car! I got lost! I walked several bslocks in 2 different directions trying to find it. Somewhere along the way I found my dad wandering around with the burritos. He was lost too! LOL So even between the two of us, we couldn’t remember where we parked. It took us probably at -least- 30 minutes to find it. And our time was expired… for probably that long :-p
So as far as walking this week, I’ve put in a lot of milage.
Luckily, I was wearing my mom’s crocs. As fugly as they are (the mary-janes not as ugly as the regular), they are sinfully comfy. My feet didn’t really hurt after all that walking, but my lower back was pretty achy.
So that’s it so far. All sorts of adventures. I really need to move back up here. Like, seriously. Either here or somewhere close enough to get what I need. The bead stores here are really very nice. Everything I need is in Eugene. If Medford was just a couple miles away from Grants Pass, I’d be happier. THat and I love the people here. There’s a mix of people. I love seeing the mix, rather than everyone looking the same. And there’s YOUNG people here! OMFG!
We were at Walmart the other night and I took a doubletake at the cashier in the self checkout. He was in my age range. He wasn’t some little old lady. It was cool ^-^
*ETA* Oh yeah! Almost forgot. I picked up Mario Party DS with my $5 off any DS game coupon from the Darkrai event. As much as I wanted Clubhouse games, so I could play with other people, I haven’t seen it anywhere. :-/ So far, this game ROCKS! ^-^ I promise to write a review on it later. You know, like how I promised to write a review for Elite Beat Agents :-p
