Okay, just 5 shots from recent letterboxing adventures.

i just love autumn… the colors and crispness of the air… especially when being up in the mountains.

anyway, i’ve been busily working on my online shops… i have two. one at a place where other people sell their homemade stuff (you can do VERY well there if you update everyday and offer cool stuff) and the other is at my own domain… i’ve noticed people do well when they sell here, there, everywhere LOL

haven’t made any sales yet because i haven’t done much for advertising. i feel like i’m never “ready enough”!

dental health stuff

i had a dental appointment Tuesday. all they wanted to do was take impressions. they are VERY kindly and understand how sensitive my teeth are, so they doped me up REALLY good. if they did any -actual- work on me, they’d double the dose. its so weird… because there’s just bits and pieces i remember very vaguely and there was one thing i remembered that popped up just out of nowhere. it was really kind of uncomfortable, but its not a big deal.

well that’s all thats been going on here… just trying to make as much stuff as possible. a lot of it is trial and orror, research, pricing, trying to figure out how to ship stuff with little to no money LOL its like a GAME… stressful but kind of fun.

Funky Cat Studio, Underway!

Finally, Whitey is on vacation and I got to take advantage of it.

I got to get to my old bank that I had my eBay biz with and close it down. Got the money out of it, was going to go 50/50 with Whitey on a new printer/scanner. Later on he wasn’t going to let me do that and insisted I put my old account money in my new account, at a different bank where I have my personal account.

My god. We had a wait at the first bank but a HUGE wait and the 2nd. They must have been doing a fucking blood transfusion on the couple ahead of me >.<

I have to wait a weakish for my new debit card, which is the meat and pototes of what I need to really do biz online. I need to wait 10 or so days for my checks. I really could care less about the checks. I may be able to get started with -something-, now that I have my check number info (you know, that they so blatantly advertise at the bottom of your checks). I’ll have to see.

I’ll be tossing stuff up all over. eBay, etsy, my own personal shopping cart. But what I reeeaally need right now are shipping supplies. The free stuff you can get from the PO isn’t always usable. But maybe that’s just me. I’m not good with that end of things.

*bouncebouncebounce* I’ve been waiting probably close to a YEAR to get all this done!

-AND- the printer/scanner/copier I got works perfectly, like a charm! I didn’t have to wrestle with it or anything! Its rather suspecious, actually. Nothing works that well without there benig some sort of hidden problems…

Poor Whitey!

He’s on vacation. Yay! But Friday his truck broke down, or pretty near it. His battery light went off. He investigated it, figured it out to be his battery. Went to go pick up a new one on Saturday, battery place was closed. So we had to wait for today. He went and got the new battery, plugged it in… ALAS! It was NOT the battery but the alternator!

Sooo he has to wrestle out the alternator. That had its own mini-complications, but he managed to get it out. He calls ahead of time to make sure they have it. They do. We go down there… there was a mix up. There was a mislabeling or something. The alternator he needs is not available. We’ll have to check in for it tomorrow.

Poor poor Whitey. I don’t know why he does this to himself ;-)

P.S. it feels so incredibly good to have a printer combo AT MY OWN DISPOSAL! ^-^

Yeah, I’ve been pretty dumpy lately. Might be feeling better today, I don’t know. Stupid Aunt Flow is visiting, so I’ll prolly just sit on my ass as much as possible. Oh wait, I always sit on my ass as much as possible :-p

I’ve decided to open a webstore for Funky Cat. Its going to be awhile before I can get it running, because I need a printer and a (good enough) camera. But I can at least start adding my paper greeting cards as am able to scan them in.

Doing the webstore and eBay from home will be so much cooler, better and smarter than how I’m doing it now. I was making decent cash from eBay before. Not a lot, but enough that I could set a bit aside and spend the rest on those evil evil auctions :)

And I’m -so- going to start making bath and body stuff, damnit! I have some stuff to start with and play with, but I’ll be adding it to my stuff eventually.

Yeah, so, off I go I suppose… I gotta re-rip ALL my damn CDs… AGAIN.

Yeah I don’t know what else to report on at the moment (besides that I’ve set up a shopping cart on my Site for Funky Cat Studio, I think I’ll just sell my paper greeting cards for now…)
