This moment’s post is about: the SNUGGLES PROJECT!

No, not Project Snuggles. I’m not talking about that sort of pathetic needfulness. I’m talking ANIMALS.

I want to make Snuggles as a sort of personal apology to the animals locked up into all those little cells, the poor caged critters of which most will be “humanely euthanized”.

DON’T MAKE ME MAKE YOU WATCH EARTHLINGS! YOU WILL CRY, YOU DISGUSTING HUMAN! If you meatbags stopped BREEDING YOUR FUCKING CATS AND DOGS and started ADOPTING animals that will get gassed, injected or tossed in the trash compactor (wish that last one was an exaggeration), then we’d be on our way to a BETTER FUCKING WORLD!

Shitfuckers.

I -need- to learn some cussing in foreign languages. I’m getting tired of putting random English words together :-p

So yeah. I’ve got 3 WIPs right now (again, see post below). Here’s my first finished one, crocheted because I couldn’t find a knitted pattern I liked and need to keep my needles open:

Its only like 14″x14″. It doesn’t meet the size requirements on the website, but from my reading, some lady’s shelter she donates to takes 10″x10″ and 12″x12″. So I figure I’ll be doing all sortsa sizes. I’ll make a ton then see who wants them.

Gaw… I’m full of piss n vinegar today. I think because I’ve been consuming more sugar than I should. That always makes me cranky.

Arg. I finally got something done. I’m trying to get out of my creative rut. Seems like I’ve been doing nothing but knitting, which is good for the brain.

For Mollie, Whitepaw’s mommy, for mommy’s day:

Crappy pic, but I’m not gonna re-take it :-p I’m pretty happy with the bracelet. Its got things that she likes and this is her style so her head will prolly explode when she sees it. Some of the beads from my own stash, some Whitepaws bought for it tonight, and that angel there came from my mom. She bought it for me so I could make Mollie a necklace for her birthday (4/22), but I just… didn’t :( *shame* So while this is technically from Whitepaws, I think it was sort of from all three of us :-p

AND, hemp keychains/zipperpulls! I miss doing this sort of stuff. I used to do a lot with embroidery thread in school :)

I’m extra proud of that last one on the right. But I really love them all. These are for sale! $3 each sound fair? Or some trade. I could really use some more hemp stuff… different thicknesses, colors. This is the only kind I have. Feel sorry for me! Woe… woooe!

…. thats it for now. I have some 100×100 for y’all on the back burner. Only 2 so far. I wanted to wait ’til I had more done before I post them.

Oh! I finished the mate to my Technicolor Yawn sock! Pics later when I feel like dealing with it…

I made these last night. I was gonig to work on my mommy’s red necklace but I just looked at it and went BLAH! lol… besides, I’ve been wanting to try this idea for ages.

I’m calling them floater earrings for now, because of how the beads look all float-y… but it also reminds me of a shooting star. So… star floater earrings? :-p

I LOVE crimp beads! Okay, so I still break them occasionally but I’m getting the hang of it. I can’t wait to try a floater style necklace. Fire Mountain Gems calls it “intermittent stranding” or some poshy-tosh thing like that… if you go here you can see what I’m talking about. I like the way it looks. Not too crazy about that pendent, but the rest of it is cool.

Aaaaand, I thought I’d go ahead and upload pics of some earrings I made ages upon ages ago. I don’t particularly like most of them so I may just end up taking some of them apart and repurposing the beads/fixings:

*ETA* Oh yeah, apologies to all my blogging friends. I haven’t been visiting anyone lately because I just haven’t been in the right mind lately… its been a lot of hard work on my novel, jewelry for my mom and the stresses of working on teeth. Ask my poor roomie… I have NOT been with it! :-/

This post is for my mommy because she wanted to see what other earrings I have made. These are all new pics since getting around my camera problem! Yay!

Thursday’s dental dealy went fine and dandy. I did the oral sedation instead of the IV. It was a bit more uncomfortable for whatever reason. I believe they finished all my root canals except one tooth which would have taken about another hour and I think I was getting tired/restless.
