I am a poet, a day dreamer, a bird watcher, a people watcher. I never could catch the sunset for the mountains. I’m a Gemini: part rat, part cat. My odds are evenly matched and I’m hoping you’ll help count it all.

I’m extremely creative. I write, draw, paint, knit, crochet and many other artsy crafty things. I started crafting a couple years ago, I started painting late ‘07. I love mixed media and abstract- anything that induces thinking.

I -love- music. I’ve been teaching myself piano but there are several other instruments I want to learn (lap harp, Irish tin whistle, mountain dulcimer & more). More than anything I want to write my own songs.

There are many bands I love. Tori Amos has been a top favorite of mine for a long time. I’m also completely and utterly obsessed with Muse. Ani DiFranco, Regina Spektor, Poe, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Counting Crows, Insane Clown Posse, AFI. I LUST the Doors- they were a huge influence in my poetry when I was younger. But the list doesn’t stop there. I love all sorts of music. I generally don’t like rap but I do like Eminem. I can NOT stand. COUNTRY/WEASTERN. I even like Hanson…

2 other things that I lust are MOVIES and VIDEO GAMES. Yeeess, I’m a total nerd :) I am also a sworn enemy of Microsoyt Windows. No, don’t argue with me. They did bad things to be, they will never been forgiven. If it works for you, good. So now I’m using Ubuntu with no complaints :)

Hmm… other than all that, what can I say? I’m an honest person who only wants to be happy. I keep searching for that one happiness fix, but I don’t think it exists. I think Dennis Leary got it right when he said happiness comes in small doses.

Did I mention I love comedy? ^-^ I LOVE comedians! Especially Dennis Leary, George Carlin and Sarah Silverman. ;-) I don’t watch a lot of TV anymore but some of my favorite comedy shows right now are John Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

Fav non-comedies are Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke. Other fav shows in no particular order: Highlander, X Files, Loony Toons, and who knows what else. I LOVE anime… Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star was okay, Big O, Sailor Moon, Hyper Police, Full Metal Panic, .hack and more that I can’t think of off hand.

I love comic books but I have a puny collection and I’m not well versed in them. I love the darker ones like Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. I would love to explore the comic book world some more.

But wait, I’m not -that- lazy! I do like to bike, hike and letterbox. I do a little bit of Yoga here and there and some belly dancing when no one is looking. I’m going to get into hula hooping and I got stilts to play on recently ^-^ I also like poking around in the garden, or what little I have right now.

After all that: I’m a Gemini. We crave change and variety, learning and socializing and we’re really creative. If you want to see the poster child for Geminis, it would probably be me :) I see bot sides of the fence, the good and bad in everyone, in every situation and every choice. In a way its a curse, especially when you see so many people around you that treat the world like its black and white. This is not a black and white world, everyone! Its full of colors, hues and saturations! :-p
