Art is Magic ATC

Yay, two posts in one day :)
So I’ve got 3 Home Impression stamps mounted to play with so far. Above is my first ATC made with them. They’re absolutely gorgeous stamps. They’re like… androgynous elves/fairies or something. They’re also a bit of a challenge for me to play with because… let’s face it, I am -not- an advanced stamper. I don’t have fancy toys or abilities. This makes my style usually pretty simple, which I love.
The Specs:
Hand painted some watercolor paper with watercolors. One sheet was greens, the other yellowy. Cut up a bunch of ATC size out of the yellowy.
Inked this stamp with Versafine Onyx Black. Stamped on green paper, cut out.
I used a gold metallic Gelz pen to go around the boarder of the cut out stamped image.
I used Tim Holtz (sexxy!) Concord Grape Distress Ink around edge of card. Yes, I tend to overuse this technique ^-^
I used my Fiskar’s ScrapBoss and a Fiskar texture embossing plate thingy to emboss on a little bit of that swirly stuff. Who doesn’t love swirls?
Ran some Yellow Citrus ColorBox fluid chalk ink over the embossed bits. I believe I also did some Lime Pastel.
Then I decided I didn’t like the gold edging around the stamped image, so I took my Silver ColorBox inkpad to it.
Took an UltraFine Sharpie and wrote Art is Magic. I wrote it on a test piece of the same paper first, it came out lovely. Then I did it on my card and it was just -begging- to bleed >.<
Used 2 Way Glue from Zig Memory System to glue the stamped image on. Placement was fun to figure out.
Then I used some Twinklette glitter markers and a green Gelz glittery pen to add some final sparklings.
Then I cut off the itty bitty excess bits that hung off. It looked neat, but I figure for an ATC to better not be poking out anywhere.
So there.
Is the bolding annoying? I can’t decide if I like it or not.
