2 new WIP paintings: Tick Tack Boom & The Consequences

Wow… I did ABSTRACT ART for the first time! Thank you, oh sleep deprivation and starvation.

I’m marking them both as WIPs right now, though I have a sneaky feeling that the first, the biggest, is done. I think I may end up writing poetry to go with these…

These both go against my nature in a couple ways: I don’t like themed colors and I don’t like the idea of leaving a PAINTING on a white background. Okay, maybe I don’t have a problem with it, I’ve just never done it before so its weird… like wearing white is weird to me O.o And, maybe a little against my nature in that its very rare I create something meaningful. Not to say I don’t like my art… I just rarely see depth or meaning in my own work. Everywhere else I do though :-p

Yes, the paint is still wet! I’m really really happy with this. I did it on the fly. It was nothing but an experiment. I only added one element to it after I realized what it meant (to me), to help finish the idea. Ignore the tool in the corner. I was too afraid to put it away. What if I wanted to do something else? Its fun to see progress pics, right?

Ew wet paint glare. But I don’t care. This was actually the first one I started on, and its actually called “& The Consequences”.
