3 new paintings WIP
May 18th, 2008 Posted in Outdoors Stuff, my Arts & Crafts | no comment »As I mentioned in my earlier post, a friend I’ve known foreverandever wanted to buy one of my paintings. He likes some of my existing stuff, but I figured I could make him something custom, special. SO that’s what this is all about.
And since I can’t seem to get my desk cleaned up enough, I did it outside!
Ah, I so love working on multiple canvasas at once. I only have one empty one left now, though :-/
If he doesn’t want this one, it’ll go up for sale, either here or eBay. So here’s the Hand of God SO FAR:

Aaaand… I worked on my 27 book some. Its coming along… slowly. But I’m not worried ^-^ I’m REALLY tired from sitting in the waaarmhot all day, but hopefully I’ll get some energy back. Then I’ll work on it some more tonight. Indoors >.>
WTF, Life?

WTF? I thought we were buds. I thought we had a mutual understanding. Our deal was that I give Good Stuff, then you give Good Stuff, right? Or did I miss some fine print somewhere?

Yeah, things could be worse. Much worse. But can’t you throw a couple little bonuses my way?
Hmm. Maybe I’ve had enough good stuff for awhile. I did win that $30 gift certificate, after all. That was hugely yummy. I -still- haven’t dove into my Grungeboard. I’m trying to first find out if I can use it in projects to sell. If not, I’ll have fun using it in my personal projects ^-^
I honestly think living penny to penny and going out of your way to make money with arts and crafts will hamper your creativity :-/ I shouldn’t let myself do that anymore.

OH! I’ve been painting outside today! I got my first commission to do a painting for a friend. Well, he liked some of my existing stuff but was happy to get something fresh, too. I had to come in because of wasp things, but there will be some pretty pics later, prolly today ^-^
My strawberry plants & violets!
May 17th, 2008 Posted in Outdoors Stuff | no comment »My violets & strawberries that are looking quite happy despite my half-neglect. And I THINK those are daffodils there. They’re all over the place here, but I never remember seeing them bloom O.o
I thought my violets were as good as dead later last year, but apparently not ^-^
And the daffodil leaves are really neat. I think I like them, even without the flowers on them.
